Irving Pizza is
the best Pizza I've found so far, in the bay area. I'm not into Chicago-style or deep-dish, I look for New York-style, big pies, with plenty of cheese and that classic New York flavor. Irving Pizza delivers on every level. You can get a cheese slice for $2.75; and a slice with two toppings for $3.75. They also serve beer on tap, and you can get pitchers too! We arrived at about 5:00pm, and we were just a head of the rush, so we didn't have to wait in line. The guy behind the counter was friendly and patient while taking our order. We had several options for a slice, including: cheese, mushroom, sausage and mushroom, pineapple and Canadian-bacon, pesto, and a combo slice (click on the link above to see the full menu and location information). I had a mushroom and sausage slice, and Joni had mushroom. We both agreed that this was the closest to real New York pizza that we have tried in California so far. We will definitely be returning soon!
Slices and soft-drinks for two was $12.75, plus tax and tip.
